Materials
At the Eutit s.r.o. company, we produce two basic materials, which represent
the company's production.
The first one and the principal one in terms of production capacity iscast basalt.. This is produced from raw material, which is completely unique in terms of its material composition. Cast basalt, which has excellent properties, especially resistance to abrasion and chemical resistance, is used by the company for production of a great number of products with a wide range of utilisation.
The second material produced by the company is commercially called eucor. This material also has great properties and furthermore, it is resistant to great temperatures. It is used solely in industrial operations, for example as an abrasion resistant insert protecting pipelines.

Basalt, also known as greystone, is a natural material – stone, which belongs among those materials,
the life of which has overcome centuries and millennia. Its hardness and difficult workability
has restricted its wider usage in building industry, however. Only the 20th century has enabled this stone
to find greater possibilities of utilisation in industry and building due to the development of petrurgy, i.e. processing
non-metallic ore by fusing and casting. Basalt is continuously casted in a shaft furnace heated
with natural gas at app. 1280°C. It is cast (formed) at 1200°C to metallic or sand
forms and after removal it is placed in continuous cooling tunnel furnaces until cooled down after 16 - 21
hours, when it recrystallizes and obtains its manufacture qualities.

Cast basalt produced by our company has versatile utilisation and you can therefore
find it in several forms practically in every branch of industry.
You can also find it in beautiful restaurant
spaces, where non-traditional design and great manufacture qualities

EUCOR is a material produced by fusion of suitable raw material in an electric arc furnace at a temperature
exceeding 2000°C and subsequent crystallisation of produced smelt. Smelt is cast into
sand forms in the common foundry way. The final product is aluminium zircon silicate.
consisting of spinel, baddeleyite and glass phase. Eucor has excellent properties,
especially hardness, resistance to high temperatures and chemical corrosion.

Usage of products made of EUCOR
Due to its great hardness, they are used in conditions with extreme abrasive strain,
such as pneumatic transport of silica sand, sinter and especially in pipeline bends. Other
examples include lining of separators, spiral spillways, bulk conveyers, concrete mixers and mixing devices,
etc. Resistance to high temperatures enables usage for lining of glass furnaces above
the level of the melt, special shaped pieces of burner walls and burners themselves, shaped
pieces of regeneration chambers, coking plant ramps, etc. An interesting possibility is usage in fly-ash
separators with high entry temperature, where all the properties including chemical
resistance may be utilised. Due to its high strength and resistance to abrasion, EUCOR may be succesfully
used in some metallurgic operations for transport of flakes and slag. Wire works use
with satisfaction eucor conductors – combs.Main physical properties:

Products
The EUTIT s.r.o. company supplies the following products made of Eucor: casts for pipeline lining,
but also flat tiles, radial tiles, shaped pieces adjusted to size for lining of steel
cases based on the drawing documentation of the customer. Complex casts are also made of eucor
used for glass industry, metallurgic industry, power plants, heating stations etc. These
companies as well as other companies take delivery of pipeline parts lined with eucor.Main groups of products made of eucor:
