For decades, basalt helps to protect steel parts against abrasion, which is becoming ever more practical again with the increasing prices of steel.
With regard to the great manufacture qualities of basalt and eucor products, these materials are used mainly as abrasion resistant inserts to pipeline parts.
Basalt inserts are highly suitable for hydraulic or pneumatic transport in mines, transport of various abrasive or chemical materials, etc. Special casts - bends, branchings, T- and Y-pieces, jets, cyclones etc. - have replaced some pieces made from highly alloyed steels and increased the service life of the device by five to twenty times.
Eucor lining is suitable for pneumatic pipelines exposed to greater strains.

- -bends, stilling pieces (*) and other shaped pieces with eucor inserts
- *Stilling piece = at least 1 metre long flat piece after the bend (in the direction of media flow)
